We provide clothing for those in need!
South African Dancing Voices participated in a project that aimed at providing school clothing for children at the RE A KGONA DROP-IN-CENTER. The center was established back in 2003 by the late Mrs Masemola, providing food for children without parents. The center has now grown to provide a larger number of kids with food so that they can attend school. The Turfloop Lutheran Youth League took the project as a Parish under the theme "Beyond talking and preaching" seek donors who can provide clothoing for the children at the center after observing a great need for these, muchso when winter is just around the corner.
The South African Dancing Voices participated in the project by providing Jerseys, shirts, pants, socks and shoes to learners coming to the center.
It was indeed a very jouyous occassion to the children and some of them were provided with shoes and school uniforms for the first time in their lives. The children sang with us during the presentation and music was used as a vehicle to tend these lambs as bring some glimpse of hope into their lives. Hoping to mend a better promising future for them and encourage them in their difficult lifetimes.
